You can buy a few different colors of chickens, plus other animals. Quite a bit is predetermined atm but there is a tinty bit of wriggle room and it is fun.

You can tell it is still in development so don’t expect a full throttle game or near one. Personally, I am already hooked and really hope there will be future updates and advancements.
This is an Early Access game with much potential.
There is nothing fun about having to do large circles with your mouse to pull up a bucket full of water from a well. The well water system … OMG no, it’s just bad, very bad and should be removed. It’s a cute work around, but shouldn’t be required. A lot of people have been using trees to build make-shift fences since you cannot build fences normally. There appears to be no value in logging at all beyond building the house in the tutorial, which is a massive bummer.
The driving is unsatisfying at best, and massively frustrating at worst. They behave like animatronic robots at a pizza restaurant. The NPCs are mostly mannequins and the animals do not behave like normal animals. The world you are in is void of any meaningful life. You are locked in to pre-determined spots for building specific things and only those things. The hunting is not very interesting once you figure out the patterns of the animals and it’s made worse by the micro management of the meat as you place it into your vehicle. The Realistic Multiplayer Agriculture Management Sandbox Farm, Harvest, Hunt & Build Sometimes your steady hand and sharp eyes will also be needed back on the ranch to stop hungry wolves turning your off-grid dream into a nightmare. So when you feel like slowing the pace, why not grab your trusty rifle and head out into the forest to stalk deer and hunt bears? But remember, the wilderness lives by its own laws and you aren’t the only skilled hunter in the neighbourhood. There’s a large open-world environment outside your cosy homestead and it’s teeming with wildlife.
